Discretionary Grant Window

The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA), a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998), invites applications or entities to supply Qualification Development Facilitators and Subject Matter Experts for the Occupational Qualifications Development Activities below:

  • Develop / Review / Re-Align Occupational Qualifications
  • Remediate Registered Occupational Qualifications
  • Develop / Review Skills Programmes
  • Develop Qualification Assessment Blue-Print (QAS Addendum); and
  • Develop And Design Assessment Instruments / Tools for the Registered Occupational Qualifications.

This grant is aimed at addressing the national priorities as projected in the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) 2030 and to ensure that there is sufficient capacity within the sector for developed and registered  occupational qualifications as set out in the Sector Skills Plan (SSP).

The Services SETA will be allocating discretionary grant funding at the discretion of Services SETA depending on funding availability, specific criteria as per the Services SETA discretionary grants policy and guideline.
